Credentials

Dr. Kevin Strouse is a Baltimore native. He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a minor in Psychology, with cum laude honors. He attended medical school at the Sackler School of Medicine and completed his psychiatry residency at The Johns Hopkins Hospital where he was chief resident.

He is licensed by the Maryland Board of Physicians to practice medicine in the State of Maryland. Dr. Strouse is a diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN) and a member of the American Psychiatric Association (APA), Maryland Psychiatric Society (MPS), and American College Health Association (ACHA).

Dr. Strouse is an Instructor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He is also a Staff Psychiatrist at University Health Services. He provides outpatient mental health care to graduate students, including medical students, resident physicians, and doctoral students, and other trainees of the Johns Hopkins Schools of Medicine, Nursing, and Public Health.

The clinical care he provides at Johns Hopkins is focused on the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of anxiety disorders (generalized anxiety, social anxiety, and panic disorder), mood disorders (depression and bipolar disorder), ADHD, and OCD.
